I had a sleepover yesterday. It actually began on Wednesday, when we started planning it.

On Wednesday, during lunch, Elysia told me she wanted to get her ears pierced. She had been saying this for months and I figured the sooner the better. So, I suggested a shopping trip with no adults to supervise us. We could ride the bus to the place where I got my ears pierced and after her ears were pierced, we could go do what we would tell our parents we were doing - shopping. She agreed and that's when we started planning our trip. First, we had to find a time and place that suited both of us. We chose the coming Saturday, when finals had ended and there was minimum pressure. We debated a variety of places to meet :the school, the place where we'd ride the bus, her house, but eventually, we decided upon the school. We also considered how Elysia should get home if the e community buses(aka green bus/purple bus/orange bus/pink bus) weren't runnning. I considered the possibility of her coming for a sleepover at my house. I knew my parents would say yes. But hers might not. We worked out our schedule:

1. I walk to school
2. Elysia and I meet at school front gate
3. Ride green bus, or if its not running, the #1 bus, to Chingda
4. Go to Starbucks and buy coffee for Elysia
5. Get pierced ears
6. Ride the #1 bus to the downtown
7. Get off at the last stop
8. Eat lunch
9. Go to Sogo
10. Wander around
11. Buy weird stuff
12. Go to bookstore
13. I read books while Elysia either reads with me or wanders around looking at the weirdo stuff they have
14. Maybe buy a book or some of the weird stuff
15. Me and elysia ride the #1 bus to either  chingda and change bus, or to my house for a sleepover
16. I walk home with Elysia if shes coming for a sleepover, or I call my mom

 We debated whether we should bring other people with us. We decided we should and asked 4 people, Ai, Sunny, Arianna, and Jamie. They were all busy, but eventually Jamie said that she could meet us at around 1:00pm in front of Sogo. We altered our plans to include Jamie:

1. I walk to school
2. Elysia and I meet at school front gate
3. ride green bus, or if its not running, the #1 bus, to Chingda
4. Go to Starbucks and buy coffee for Elysia
5. Get Elysia's ears pierced
6. Ride the #1 bus to the downtown
7. Get off at the last stop
8. Eat lunch
9. Go to Sogo
10. Wander around
11. At 1:00 meet Jamie in sogo front door
12. Wander around Sogo some more
13. Buy weird stuff
14. Go to bookstore
15. Me and Jamie read books while Elysia either reads with us or wanders around looking at the weird stuff they have
16. Maybe buy a book or some of the weirdo stuff
17. Find out how jamie's gonna get home
18. Elysia and I ride the #1 bus to either Chingda and change buses, or to my house for a sleepover.
19. I walk home with Elysia if she's coming for a sleepover, or I call my mom

We had our schedule all worked out. Now the only problem was whether our parents would agree to the trip, pierced ears, and the sleepover. As I expected, when I asked my mom, she said yes to the trip and sleepover. Jamie's mom also said yes. Elysia's mom said the same, but her dad was more protective. He finally agreed to the trip and the sleepover, but refused to let Elysia get peirced ears, insisting that her ears would rot away if she did. He also wanted Elysia to carry a baseball bat around with her, but luckily, Elysia won that argument. But, we had to cancel the plans for her getting pierced ears. So eventually, when Saturday came around, our plans were:

 So, on Saturday, I caught a ride with my mom and waited at the place where she had the lessons until Elysia called saying that she was in front of the Starbucks across from Sogo. I walked over to the street across from Sogo, found the Starbucks, and, after a while, found Elysia. When I finally found her, and her parents had left, the first thing she wanted to do, was go into Starbucks. We did, and she spent like, 100NT or more on a cappuccino or something. After that, we went to the place where my mom had piano lessons to drop off Elysia's luggage for the sleepover. On the way, coming back from the piano lessons place, I decided to stop at the bookstore. We stayed there for half an hour or so, till Elysia got bored (she doesnt like books) and asked if we could leave, because she was hungry. We set out for Mcdonalds to get an early lunch. Along the way, we stopped at various little stores along the road, whenever something caught our eye. We finally got to Mcdonalds at around 12:00pm. I ordered a #2 meal (cheeseburger, drink, and fries) and she ordered a different meal (I forgot the number; chicken nuggets, drink, and fries).we stayed at Mcdonalds for a long time. Then, after we left, we decided to just shop at whatever shop looked good. Eventually, we wound up at the place where I bought my skull earrings. We stayed there for a long time too, because there were a lot of jewelry there: bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, belly button rings, nose rings, etc. In fact, we were still there when Jamie called. We told her where we were and she met us at the jewelry shop, where I was debating whether I should buy a pair of earrings, while Elysia bought a necklace. Eventually, I got 2 pairs of earrings, a dangly heart with little wings, and a dangly star shaped one. We left the shop, and went to Sogo. We looked at almost every floor, but we got tired of riding the escalator when we got the 9th floor or something, and went to the elevator, to look at the elevator guide, where it says what was on each floor. Most of the floors were boring, but the 11th floor or something, had a bookstore so we rode the elevator up. That floor contained an archade, a dvd store, and a big bookstore. We browsed the dvd store and then went to the bookstore, where we stayed for another half an hour or so. After that, we left Sogo, and wandered around, looking for another store to look at. We passed Mcdonalds, and Elysia and I bought a sprite for all of us to share. We found another bookstore and Jamie and I went in to look, and Elysia stayed outside because no food or drinks were allowed. On the first floor of the store, was books. The second and third floors had all sorts of stuff. But it was the 4th floor that really interested us. The were all sorts of little trinkets there, and puzzles. I love puzzles, and apparently so does Jamie. But, before I could go look at them, Elysia called and said it was my turn to hold the sprite. So I went downstairs and traded places with her. I had brought a small water bottle that I thought I could use to put the sprite in. So I drank the water and filled the empty water bottle with sprite, then hid the water bottle in my purse. The can was still around half full, so I started drinking it. When there was only a quarter left, I called Elysia and told her "if you want any sprite, you better come get it because there's hardly any left." After about 5~10 minutes, She finally came down, with Jamie, and plastic blue bags containing the stuff they got. By then, there was only 3 gulps of sprite left. While they were moaning about how little sprite was left, I went in the store to do my shopping. I took a long time, and when I finally came out, they were gone. I called them, and they said they were at Mcdonalds. I walked over to Mcdonalds and found them playing games on Elysia's I-phone. We compared our purchases: Elysia got some tiny potion bottles and stuff like that; witch ingrediants she called them, and Jamie got a puzzle, like me. The only differance was that her puzzle had a weird picture of a rabbit an stuff like that, whereas my puzzle had a picture of mini One Piece characters. We stayed at the Mcdonalds for a while. Elysia was still complaining about how much sprite I drank, so I gave her the sprite in my water bottle. It was around 3:30pm already. They wanted ice cream, so we went to this ice cream store next to Sogo. Finally, at around 4:00pm we decided to go home, and Jamie called her mom to see if she could come to my house to play. Her mom said yes, so we all rode the #1 bus to the last stop, where I called my mom who came and picked us up. At my house, it was sort of boring, because I've never had a sleepover before, so, I didn't know what to do. We worked on my puzzle and played with Elysia's I-phone in my room on the 4th floor until Jamie's mom came to get her. After Jamie left, it was time to eat dinner. I gave up on my puzzle, and Elysia and I went down to eat. After my mom and Jerry had finished eating, my dad suddenly came down and said the adults were going to go watch a movie and we kids should just stay at home and behave. Of course, this gave us an oppurtunity to play computer. We played on separate computers, until I got curious about what Elysia was doing. I started watching what Elysia was watching. So, basically, we watched two movies together. They were actually pretty good. They were called "A Cinderella Story" and "Another Cinderella Story". They weren't sequels, they were different, but the plot was pretty similar, because, as their names suggest, they were both based on Cinderella. We finally went upstairs at around 1:00am and went to bed at 2:00am. We woke at around 12:00pm the next day. After breakfast/lunch, we stayed in my bedroom doing my puzzle and playing her I-phone until her mom called and said she was coming to get her. Elysia's mom finally came at around 1:30pm or 2:00pm and left with Elysia after chatting with my mom for a long time.
