This year's Field Day was a total disaster.

Yesterday was Field Day. I woke up at 7:25am because my stupid dad took away my alarm clock the night before. My parents never wake up on their own and so, usually, I wake them up at 7:00am. This time, obviously, I didn't have my clock so I woke up late. We were supposed to get to school before 7:40am, so naturally, I went hysterical. It was complete pandamonia in our house and when I finally got downstairs, it was already 7:30am.We had to skip breakfast and my dad drove Jerry and I to school on our motercycle. We never actually made it to school because 1 minute after we drove off it started raining. So my dad turned around and went back home because I reasoned, well, no one can run or march in the rain. Then when we got home, we called the office to ask if there was still school, and they said that they were going to have a debate whether or whether not to have school at 8:00am. We decided not to go, even though they said we still had to go, because it was already 7:55am by the time we called. Then we all rushed to pack Jerry's bags because he was going camping with the Boy Scouts. The second we finished packing we rushed to the meeting place and made it with 10 minutes to spare. Then Dad took me to buy breakfast for Jerry to eat on the bus, while Mom accompanied him to the meeting place. Dad and I got a egg cake(dan bing) and a little meat dumpling for him and rushed back just in time. Then after Jerry and the other Boy Scouts had left we went back home and did random stuff(well I did random stuff and Mom and Dad did their boring grown up stuff) until it was time for bed.
