Today, I went to this huge wedding engagment of my mom's cousin. Of all the 11 courses of food that they served, only 1 of them was something decent that I could actually eat.
This morning, at about 11:15am we started to get dressed and everything. Mom had gone 2 hours before to help with the "stuff". Uncle Weii picked us up at about 11:30am with Gran(dad's mom). After a lot of fuss, we finally got on the car and started driving towards the restaurant where they were holding the wedding engagment/party. When we got there after about half an hour, we had a hard time finding a parking space. When we did find one we got a bit lost trying to find the right building. After we finally walked into the restaurant we discovered that there were tons of weddings held there besides ours. At least 4 I think. After I finished greeting the millions of relatives there I finally found a place to sit and shortly afterwards, I was given a couple of poppers which you're supposed to shoot at the bride. Apparently it shoots confetti and makes a loud noise. After a bunch of collecting, I wound up with 5 of them and popped 2 of them when the bride came in. The last 3 I plan to use for April Fools Day. One for Ivy(Who's birthday just happens to be on April Fools Day) or Jerry(My annoying little brat of a brother) and the other 2, well you don't want to know. After that was the 11 courses. I didn't eat much since I decided to become a vegetarian and eat only a little bit of meat each month. Ugh, all of those courses were mostly meat or else it's raw, or ice-cold stuff except for the last one, the dessert which was fruit. I won't bother explaining all those disgusting-looking-and-smelling courses of meat. I won't even bother to imagine all the poor animals they killed. All the leftovers there was could have fed an entire family for a week or so. After lots of toasts and stuff, it was finally time to leave.
