My Trip to Guoshi

Chapter 1-Packing

Our house was a mess. My brother, Jerry was stuffing half of his stuffed dogs into his black suitcase. Finally he wound up having the mother dog, the eldest puppy, the twin puppies, the littlest puppy, my stuffed kitten, my teddy bear, some clothes, and his swimming gear. I packed some of my clothes, swimming things, some money(for emergencies), and my beanbag in my pink suitcase. Finally we were ready to go. We loaded onto my dad's BMW and picked up my grandma and cousin, Louis. We were on the way to Guoshi!

Chapter 2-Our Room

We're there! After we met up with our friends we went to or room on the end of the hall at the 6th floor. Our friends took the room right above us and the one on the 8th floor too. Our room has only 1 bathroom with a giagantic bathtub, perfect for a nice, long, hot soak. It was big enough to swim in! Next to the bathroom was a little tiny kitchen barely big enough to squeeze 2 people. Next to the kitchen was a low wooden meduim-sized table with 6 little stools in front of a TV. Next to the table was a little space big enough for one sleeping bag. Grandma didn't want to be in the little bedroom next to the space for the sleeping bag because there were so many people so she laid down her sleeping bag in the space next to the table. The rest of us got out blankets, pillows, and more sleeping bags and laid them on the beroom floor because there were no beds. Jerry started to unpack the dolls he brought and put some on the shelves in the closets, left some in his suitcase and put the littlest dog, Puffy and the mother dog, Dogalina on his sleeping bag. After we unpacked we decided to find something to do. So we went to our friend, Rebecca's room on the 6th floor.

Chapter 3-At Rebecca's Room

Rebecca's family was already done unpacking. Their room was just about the same as our room except that they had a couch, chair, and a little glass table where we had the wooden table with 6 stools. In the bedroom they had a bed and a wide dresser with china things on it. All the kids were on the bed playing pillow fight Jerry and Louis decided to join in. I grabbed a pillow and backed off into a corner. Soon the fight became boys against girls, boys on the bed and the girls on the ground in front of the bed. It was an uneven match. There were only 2 boys and 6 girls counting myself. One of the girls was(I think) 3 years old. She didn't partcipate in the fight and neither did I. I thought it was a bit of an unfair war so I tossed pillows to the boys for them to throw. Finally the grown-ups stopped watching TV and stepped in and broke up the war of pillows. From my point of view I think the girls won but that's probably because there's more of them and because they're a lot more vicious than Jerry and Louis. After they broke up the fight we all went to dinner.

Chapter 4-Dinner

For dinner we went to a restaurant where Rebecca's mom had booked 2 tables for all of us to dine together. There was a kids table and grown-up table. I sat down at the kids table with Louis and Jerry. When the food arrived, the kids started to fight for food because there were so many of us and we were all very hungry. We had ................ rice, cabbage, lettuce, crab/lobster, fish, shrimp, and chicken nuggets with shrimp or pineapples inside and some other stuff. It was all delicious. When we finished, we went back to our hotel room, stayed up till midnight, and watched television of the fireworks of Taipei 101. Then we went to sleep.

Chapter 5-The Next Morning

The next morning Louis, Jerry and I were rudely awakened by our friends suddenly appearing out of nowhere, pulling off our blankets, pulling out our pillows from under our heads, and accidently stepping on us. It was very annoying and it hurt a lot. After they went we started to complain to my dad because it was him that let them in ,so we got to sleep a little longer and when we woke up we went to eat breakfast. Then we went to the hot springs to soak our feet.
